CHINESE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION OF LOGISTICS COMPANIES IN THAILAND: A CASE STUDY OF SIAM 928 INTERNATIONAL TRADE

Abstract

In recent years, Thailand and China’s bilateral trade in goods is increasing. Language and
cultural factors are also a major obstacle to economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand.
In order to explore the situation of Chinese language application in Thailand’s foreign trade logistics
industry, this paper investigates the application of Chinese language in Siam 928 International Trade
(Thailand) Company, discusses the difficulties encountered by the company in business using Chinese
business, and puts forward the countermeasures to solve the difficulties.
The results show that there are four characteristics of business application in Thai business:
business Chinese in Thailand foreign trade logistics industry is widely used, more and more Thai people
learn Chinese; Chinese Thai foreign trade logistics industry language is very high, the application
prospects are very good, many Foreign trade logistics enterprises in the internal staff of Chinese teaching
and training. The problems of business application in Thai business are mainly manifested in two aspects:
First, the lack of understanding of Chinese culture, understanding is not deep, and then there are barriers
to Chinese communication. Finally, in view of the problem of Chinese application in foreign trade logistics
industry in Thailand, this paper puts forward three countermeasures: First, the government should improve
the penetration rate of Chinese in Thailand and support the training of Chinese talents in trade logistics
industry. Second, Business Chinese knowledge and skills training; third is the Chinese talent to strengthen
the education and training of Chinese culture.
