EVALUATION AND PROMOTION OF INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS OF CHINA’S SERVICE TRADE

Abstract

In recent years, China’s trade in goods has been the largest in the world. While China’s trade in goods has a large surplus, its trade in services has a large defcit. In order to understand the development status of China’s service trade and analyze its international competitiveness, and on this basis to provide countermeasures and suggestions for improving the international competitiveness of China’s service trade, this paper adopted the quantitative analysis method and generated a brief analysis for the development status of China’s service trade according to the latest statistical yearbook data. Subsequently, the RCA index, international market share and TC index were used to evaluate China’s service trade competitiveness in recent years. The evaluation results showed that the overall international competitiveness of China’s service trade was less than robust. In addition, China’s labor-intensive service trade industry has strong international competitiveness. Finally, according to Porter’s diamond model, relevant suggestions are given to provide a reference for relevant government departments and service trade enterprises.
