CEO 背景特征对企业科技创新的影响 ——基于粤港澳大湾区政策效应的实证研究

摘要

建设具有全球科技影响力的粤港澳大湾区需要企业科技创新。为研究粤港澳大湾区设立对 CEO 背景特征与企业科技创新间关系的政策效应,本文使用 2008-2019 年广东省上市公司年度
数据为样本,通过运用双重差分法  (DID) 等实证方法,检验了粤港澳大湾区政策对海外背景、学术背景及金融背景 CEO 研发投入行为的政策效应。研究结果表明:大湾区政策显著强化了 CEO 海外背景对企业科技创新的正向作用,大湾区政策显著负向强化了 CEO 学术背景、金融背景与企业科技创新间的关系。该结论在倾向得分匹配—双重差分法 (PSM-DID) 下依旧成立。研究结论为政府加快制定和实施创新驱动发展战略、动态调整优化大湾区创新政策及企业金融化程度控制和高管团队成员不同背景配置提供了针对性的微观经验证据。
