Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study (1) the level of administrative factors in primary schools (2) the level of efficiency of school management (3) the correlation between the administrative factors and efficiency of schools (4) the factors affecting the school management under the Nakornphathom Primary Educational service area office. The sample consisted of 92 schools comprised of 1 administrator, 3 teachers and 2 committees per school. Altogether, there were 92 administrators, 276 teachers and 184 committees, for a total 552 persons. The research instrument used was rating scale (5 levels) questionnaire. The data analysis was a percentage (%), mean (), standard deviation (SD) and stepwise simple regression analysis.  The results of the study were as follows: (1) The administrative factors of administrators in schools were overall at a high level. The classification finding was at the highest level and were separately and chronological ranked as follows: by Man Power (human resources), Management, Material and Money. (2)The  efficiency of the school management was  overall at a high level. The classifications were found at the highest level and chronologically ranked as follow: financial management, human management, academic management and general management respectively. (3)The administrative factors of schools correlated with the efficiency of school were .05 significant. (4) The administration factors affecting  the efficiency school management under the  Nakornphathom Primary Educational  Service  Area Office 1  were due to  administration factors which affected   the efficiency of the school management. The predicted efficiency of the school management was 86.30.
