Modern human resource management is changing. Formerly, human resource management was inflexible, sequential, and focused on management processes and centralized management. These concepts changed to modern human resource management that uses strategy and participation of stakeholders for management procedure. And, it considers internal and external conditions. These changes affect the stakeholders in human resources management, so they must change their role for them. The changing points about skill, knowledge and ability include 5 issues, such as (1) strategy (2) strategic human resource management (3) measuring human resource performance (4) human resource management technology and innovation (5) competency of human resource managers. Stakeholders have accepted the fact that they can depend only on themselves when dealing with their changing roles given the opportunity for potential development and opportunities to get involved with organizational strategy.
