Abstract

The air travel market in 2019 is likely to be more better than last year. Important factors are the lower fuel prices and the higher economic growth resulting in passengers being able to travel at a lower cost. Moreover, more new routes have been opened. Airlines have higher incomes and margins, allowing the government to receive more fees and taxes too. The needs of services users will be more specific. Also information technology will play a greater role in providing services. There for, the main operators, airlines and airports, must adjust their operating strategies to meet the needs of all groups of services users. Strategies that should be used are aviation technology, information technology, artificial intelligence, increasing revenue from value-added services and responding to the social need of services users.
