Abstract

This research aims to (1) study the service conditions of the Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS) (2) To study the factors affecting to the efficiency of service of CIFS and (3) To present the results of factors effecting to the efficiency of service of CIFS. The research is divided into 3 parts: Quantitative research were using questionnaire from 400 recipients. Analyze data by inferential statistics including t-test, F-test ANOVA. and Correlation. Qualitative research were using in-depth interviews from 15 persons with knowledge and experience in forensic science and Case study: the opinion of service providers and recipients on CIFS’s service by using in-depth interviews with service providers and recipients for 8 persons. The results of the research found that 1. Service conditions in this research of service providers and recipients agree that the structural service of CIFS divided into 5 parts such which were accurate and various branches of forensic service. In additional to the recipients can access more conveniently and respond to the need of the recipients efficiency. 2. Factor effecting to the efficiency of service of CIFS at a high level is innovation and technology. Follow by leadership, network and communication respectively. Moreover, the speed of the around time of analysis and the transparency are effect to increase the satisfaction efficiency of the recipients. 3. The results of factors that affect service efficiency revealed that four factors were related to the service efficiency of CIFS. Leadership factors affect the efficiency of service speed. Network factors affect the efficiency, speed and service satisfaction. Mass communication factors and innovation and technology factors affect the efficiency of transparency in service, respectively. Guidelines and suggestions for increasing service efficiency are personnel development to keep up with changes and apply digital technology to benefit, providing inspection services in various fields, responding to the needs that are fast, accurate, transparent, as well as organizing the system to be able to provide one-stop service and expand to cover all over the country.
