Stakeholders’ Perception, Attitudes, Participation and Decision to Visit The New Zoo in Pathum Thani Province

This research aimed to investigate stakeholder perceptions, impacts, knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and involvement regarding the forthcoming zoo's opening, alongside studying issues and extracting lessons from community involvement. This study was quantitative, testing 400 samples The sampling methodology encompasses stratified and systematic sampling for quantitative data analysis and subsequent descriptive statistical analysis. The research findings reveal the following The majority in this study are predominantly female, aged between 41 and 50, employed in civil service or state enterprises, holding bachelor's degrees, with an average monthly income ranging from 10,001 to 30,000 Baht. The sampled group exhibits a perception rate of 74.19% The most prominent level of perception regarding the new zoo project pertains to public relations activities aimed at disseminating information about the project and its activities. The sampled group, encompassing both proponents and critics, holds a balanced attitude, with a strong consensus on the potential of the new zoos as an invaluable resource for wildlife conservation education and research. Additionally, they perceive it as a promising center for zoological studies. Regardless of their positive or negative perspectives, the sampled stakeholders actively contribute to the new zoo’s launch at a moderate level. They play a significant role in leveraging the zoo's benefits and actively engage in expressing their viewpoints, The sample will decide to visit the new zoo in Pathum Thani with a decision rate of 87.98 %
