Guidelines for Developing Students Care Management Systems in the Digital Age for Extra-Large Schools in Chainat Province

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis were to (1) study the concept (2) study the current situation, desired conditions, and necessary needs, and (3) studying the development of the management of student care systems in the digital age of extra-large schools in Chainat Province. The sample consisted of 14 school administrators and 160 teachers, totally 174 people by using stratified random sampling. The research tools used for data collection were questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis used Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Need Index and content analysis. The thesis results were as follows (1) The conceptual framework consists of individual student recognition, student screening, student promotion, problem prevention and resolution, and referral, with digital integration.
(2) The current condition is at a high level overall. Considering each aspect, it was found that the student promotion aspect has a high level current condition, with the highest level. In terms of knowing students individually, the average of the current condition is at a high level, with the lowest average. The overall desired condition is at a high level. Considering each aspect, it was found that in terms of student promotion, the average level of desirable conditions is at a high level, with the highest average. As for the referral aspect, the average value of the desired condition is at a high level, with the lowest average value of the index of necessity, the highest being in the referral aspect, student promotion aspect, prevention and problem solving aspect, and (3) Guidelines for developing the management of the digital student care system of extra-large schools in Chainat Province, in terms of knowing students individually, the highest average and the highest need index values are in the area of referrals. In terms of student promotion, prevention, and problem solving, development approaches will require the integration of technology to assist in various processes to further increase efficiency and effectiveness.
