Management Strategies for Medium-Size Schools in Nong Suea District, Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

The purposes of this research were as follows: (1) to study the current and desirable states of administration, (2) to analyze the external and internal environments, (3) to formulate strategies, and (4) to evaluate the administrative strategies for medium-sized schools in Nong Suea District, under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The data providers were administrators and teachers from medium-sized schools in Nong Suea District. A sample of 140 participants was selected based on the Krejcie & Morgan (1970, pp. 607-610) table, using specific qualification criteria for administrators and teachers. Key informants included 8 school administrators. The quantitative research instrument was a 5-point scale questionnaire according to the method of Likert (1967, pp. 90-95). The validity of the questionnaire was between 0.67-1.00 and the reliability was 0.98. Qualitative research instruments included workshop and external and internal environment analysis forms and TOWS MATRIX. Self-educated data collection. Quantitative data analysis used descriptive statistics including Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and PNImodified test. Qualitative data analysis was content analysis. The research results found that (1) the current and desirable states of school administration had mean scores of 3.84 and 4.29, respectively, both at a high level. (2) the analysis of the external environment indicated opportunities, while the internal environment analysis revealed weaknesses, placing the schools in a position requiring improvement. and (3) four main administrative strategies for medium-sized schools were developed: 1) A strategy to enhance personnel excellence, 2) A strategy for financial stability, 3) A strategy to upgrade learning quality, and 4) A strategy to increase operational efficiency and 12 secondary strategies.
