สถานการณ์และคุณภาพชีวิตด้านการบริโภคอาหารของแรงงานสัญชาติพม่า ในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) สถานการณ์การบริโภคอาหารของแรงงานสัญชาติพม่าในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช และ (2) คุณภาพชีวิตด้านการบริโภคอาหารของแรงงานสัญชาติพม่าในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ศึกษาแบบผสานวิธี เชิงคุณภาพสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกแรงงานสัญชาติพม่า เพื่อนแรงงานคนไทย ผู้ประกอบการ
และเจ้าหน้าที่ภาครัฐ รวมทั้งสิ้น 21 คน เลือกแบบเจาะจงวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ และเชิงปริมาณ
ใช้แบบสอบถามกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ แรงงานสัญชาติพม่า จำนวน 350 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปหาค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) สถานการณ์การบริโภคอาหารของแรงงานสัญชาติพม่าในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ซึ่งแรงงานสัญชาติพม่าหาซื้อผัก ผลไม้ และเนื้อสัตว์ได้จากตลาดสด
และรถพ่วงข้างขายอาหาร ทำให้ได้บริโภคอาหารที่สดใหม่และสะอาด มีการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมการบริโภคอาหารแบบผสมผสานกับคนท้องถิ่นได้ แต่ก็ยังคงรักษาวัฒนธรรมการบริโภคอาหารของแรงงานพม่าเองควบคู่กันไป
และ (2) คุณภาพชีวิตด้านการบริโภคอาหารของแรงงานสัญชาติพม่าในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช อยู่ในระดับมาก
