Abstract

This evaluation study is about teaching writing skill for the intermediate level at Al-Manar Institute for Teaching Quran and Arabic-Kelantan Malaysia.  The researcher followed the descriptive and analytical methods in order to identify the contents of the materials of teaching writing skill for intermediate level, focusing on the alphabet writing, and combined words and sentence and Arabic calligraphy. He also used the test and questionnaire tools, test is for students, and the questionnaire for teachers, then he conduct a pre-test to find the common mistakes among students, then he analyzed the results of the test and suggested solutions to treat them. He designed a post-test to ensure the improvement of the students. The third class of the intermediate level at Al-Manar Institute for Teaching Quran and Arabic- in Kota Baro, Kelantan Malaysia, whether they are inside Malaysia or outside it. The researcher reached the following findings: 1- Post-test was better than the pre-test and it showed less mistakes. 2-They did not master the rules of the verbs that required two objectives, and they were confused about the prepositions, and missed some features of the letters. 3- The students’ first language effected the formation Arabic sentences, 4- there is no difference in repetition of the mistakes between the Malaysian students or the other students.
