Expectations of employers on bachelor degree of political science students, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen campus

The objectives of this research were to study the expectations of employers of the Bachelor of Political Science Program and to provide suggestions for improving the Political Science curriculum from employer perspectives. Data were collected by interviewing employers of the Bachelor of Political Science curriculum, at Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus 50 employers.
The results revealed the expectations of employers of the Bachelor of Political Science program by considering the analysis framework based on learning outcomes according to the Higher Education Qualifications Standards in the year 2022 for four issues: knowledge, skills, ethics, and character. First, interdisciplinary knowledge and knowledge of digital technology should be taught in the curriculum. Second, communication skills should be emphasized in classes to encourage students to improve these skills. Third, ethics especially public interests are crucial to encourage students to behave and also consider promoting accountability. Finally, the promotion of the characteristics of Political Science graduates to be open and be ready to learn new things.
