People's perceptions of factors affecting the selection of members of the house of representatives in 2023

This study aimed to study people's perceptions on factors affecting the selection of members of the House of Representatives in 2023, to compare people's perceptions of factors affecting the selection of members of the House on Representatives in 2023, and as a suggestion for the decision to elect members of the House of Representatives in the year 2023 of the people. The study population included 52,554,955 people who have the right to vote and the samples in the study were 1,083 people using Krejcie & Morgan. The results of the research found that people's perceptions on factors affecting the selection of members of the House of Representatives in 2023 were at a high level and level of people's perceptions on factors affecting the selection of members of the House of Representatives in 2023 had no significantly difference. When synthesizing the research results, it was revealed that, apart from political party factors, and candidates for election, another important factor is the person who will serve as a prime minister will greatly affect the selection of members of the House of Representatives. Because it is like choosing members of the House of Representatives, it is indirectly electing the prime minister.
