Factors Affecting Interaction Packaging Design to Promote Agricultural Tourism

This academic paper’s objectives are: 1) to study the factors of interactive packaging design to promote agricultural tourism attractions, and 2) to create interactive packaging design guidelines to promote agricultural tourism. Regarding the first objective, the author reviewed, analyzed, and summarized the literature related to interaction. Besides, the author analyzed the task of agricultural activities and summarized packaging design guidelines. The findings revealed that the interaction packaging design factors are 1) user experiences, product study and anticipation of the product usage, 2) understanding of how to use the product, and 3) positive feeling, users’ satisfaction both during and after use. The guideline for packaging design relates to 1) experience concerning an attractive packaging appearance, communication of how to use, and an illustration of the product, 2) understanding of the product usage, including the use of texts identifying the order of use and a device separation, and 3) positive emotions are image and text advertising and graphic design to promote easy-to-understand packages and to create value for the user.
