Post Occupancy Evaluation of Dharma Building, Matchantikaram Temple, Bangkok.

Abstract

The dharma building of matchantikaram temple Bangkok has completed construction. The main purpose of this building is to provide a clear space for those who come to practice Dharma. Therefore, the activities in the garden area and other buildings of the temple were moved to this building. This building has various types of religious activities and other social activities taking place in the temple. This study aims to (1) To study the level of satisfaction with the use inside the Dharma building of matchantikaram temple. (2) To study problems of using dharma building of matchantikaram temple. (3) To study ways to improve dharma Building of matchantikaram temple. There is a research model that is integrated research. For quantitative research, the sample was 108 people during December 2021 to May 2022. The research tool was a questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis were mean, standard deviation. For qualitative research. Data was collected by walk through evaluation during December 2021 to June 2022 in 4 activities and analyzed by interpreting and creating inductive conclusions. The results of the research were as follows: (1) Users of the dhama building most satisfied in terms of traffic areas within the building ,building accessories ,meditation area Support area respectively. (2) The users of the Dharma building are aware of the problems arising from the use of building elements in the form of signs and safety of building users. (3) The building must increase the continuity of space in the entrance hall and equipment storage area.
