Great Victory of the Lord Buddha over Mara in Five Paradigms of Philosophy

Abstract

Do you believe in miracle? In chanting  Buddhajayamangala,  which is referring praise of the eight great victories of  Buddha over the Mara. This incantation has been trusted and believed among all Buddhists since ancient times by being used in prayer in many different ceremonies and also in royal ceremonies. Although some people suspect that how did the Lord overcome many of these evils? but no one dared to ask questions, because it would be immediately strange for that society. This belief is in other theism religions as well, such as Christianity and Islam. because these religions believe in the miracle of God which able to inspire anything that happens in human life. Therefore, the human paradigm in miracle belief has always existed but changed according to the times which depend on the environment, education, gender, age, society, and ideas of people in that era. Thus, philosophical theories have divided the paradigm of each era by calling it “The Five Paradigm of Philosophy” to explain clearly in those distinct concepts. And showed that this incantation contributes to the continuous learning of human intelligence who is a teachable person and better than other animals. For the Buddhist,  the paradigm of using reason and intellect together with a stable faith in the miracle of the Buddha which is on this chanting Buddhajayamangala. They will fully understand that the really essence is to practice in dhamma principles which the buddha overcome to mara and he acted as appearing example. Then, that existing faith will develop to wisdom called  “Right Views”, the one of Eight Noble Paths which bring us to the way of finally freeing from suffering.
