Abstract

This research is to study and find the direction of the street wear swagger following the concept by design paradox. By the quantitative and qualitative. quality, to design from studying the works of artists who use the design paradox concept to see ideas and elements of design. With the works of Penrose stairs by M.C. Esher / Lionel Sharples, Penrose and modern visual art, Post Neo cubism by the artist Miguel Angel belinchon to analyze elements of design. In the quantitative and qualitative survey of clothing in terms of target groups. By using the target group Street wear swagger 100 people. qualitatively. With the target group 3 people are directly and talking about clothing design, especially from the target group in analyzing the paper doll data set, including 100 men wear, and 100 women wear and bringing the data obtained to analyze.


The results of the research found that (1.) Style and wearing the description of the Silhouette Large and looser than usual vivid and trending colors. New materials and fashion details. There is a mix and match style, wearing additional accessories (2.) the target group to be genderless, having age ranges from 20 to 35 years, Generation M and Z (3.) Independent careers that are creative in various fields, having a stable income to a certain extent (4.) Having leadership in swagger with high confidence and becoming oneself, freedom, trendy, tasty, confident identity, stunning.
