“Streets and Lanes” A Documentary the City Image of Nanning's Historical and Cultural District: Three Streets and Two Alleys

Abstract
Based on the theory of urban image research, this study takes Nanning's urban image as the representative under the framework of overall urban image research, and focuses on three streets and two alleys, a city symbol with multiple attributes such as commerce, culture, architecture and history, through the use of literature review, field research, case study and questionnaire survey. With vivid visual patterns, daily video narratives, and realistic objective oral history, the documentary film "In the Streets and Alleys" weaves together individual destinies and urban changes, and it is also an attempt to write the memory of the city, which builds up the charming city image of Nanning and strengthens people's cultural memory and local identity.
