Aesthetic Appreciation of Zhuang Brocade Cultural Heritage: Revitalization & Inheritance of Zhuang Brocade Patterns and Innovative Design in Clothing

Abstract
This research aims to study the development, identity and cultural of meaning through Zhuang brocade patterns and created the new products from Zhuang brocade patterns as fashion set. This study was conducted according to research methodologies from the documents, field study and creation design. The research results founded that the identity and cultural of meaning through Zhuang brocade patterns, are divided into five categories is geometric pattern, plant pattern, animal pattern, word art pattern, and specific story pattern. In the part of created new products from Zhuang brocade patterns consists of 3 methods including 1) direct pattern, 2) transform original pattern, and 3) detachment and reassembly pattern. After that, two sets of works were created, namely the “Hope” set and the “Yarn of Love” set.
