บทคัดย่อ

บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะการคิดเชิงพีชคณิตของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ในชั้นเรียนคณิตศาสตร์ที่ใช้วิธีการแบบเปิด การวิจัยใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพตามแนวทางชาติพันธุ์วรรณนาในชั้นเรียน กลุ่มเป้าหมายคือนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2 จำนวน 6 คน ซึ่งคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจงให้ครอบคลุมระดับความสามารถสูง ปานกลางและต่ำ ระดับละ 2 คน จากชั้นเรียนในโรงเรียนที่เข้าร่วมการศึกษาชั้นเรียนด้วยวิธีการแบบเปิดหรือ TLSOA เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจำนวน 4 คาบเรียน จากชิ้นงานนักเรียน โปรโตคอลชั้นเรียน ภาพถ่ายกระดาน การสังเกตชั้นเรียนและโปรโตคอลการคิดออกเสียง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้กรอบกิจกรรมทางพีชคณิต 3 ประเภทของ Kieran (2004) ซึ่งในการวิจัยนี้เรียกโดยย่อว่าโมเดล GTG ร่วมกับหลักฐานที่ปรากฏในกระบวนการวิธีการแบบเปิด ตรวจสอบคุณภาพเครื่องมือด้วยดัชนีความสอดคล้องระหว่างข้อคำถามกับวัตถุประสงค์ ซึ่งมีค่าอยู่ระหว่าง 0.67-1.00 และตรวจสอบความเชื่อมั่นระหว่างผู้สังเกตด้วยค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แคปปาของโคเฮนได้ค่า 0.78 รวมทั้งตรวจสอบความน่าเชื่อถือของข้อมูลด้วยการตรวจสอบสามเส้า การตรวจสอบข้อมูลกับผู้มีส่วนร่วมและการอภิปรายกับเพื่อนนักวิจัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนแสดงการคิดเชิงพีชคณิตครบทั้ง 3 แกนของโมเดล GTG รวม 11 รูปแบบย่อย ได้แก่ กิจกรรมการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางพีชคณิต 4 รูปแบบ กิจกรรมการดำเนินการกับสัญลักษณ์หรือสมการ 4 รูปแบบและกิจกรรมระดับอภิมโนทัศน์ 3 รูปแบบ ข้อค้นพบสำคัญคือ สัญลักษณ์ □ พัฒนาจากช่องว่างท้ายสมการสำหรับเติมผลลัพธ์ไปสู่สัญลักษณ์แทนปริมาณที่ไม่ทราบค่าในตำแหน่งต่าง ๆ ของสมการโดยมีแบบจำลองแถบและการอภิปรายร่วมกันทั้งชั้นเรียนเป็นกลไกสำคัญที่ช่วยให้นักเรียนเชื่อมโยงสถานการณ์ปัญหา ประโยคสัญลักษณ์และการให้เหตุผลเชิงโครงสร้าง ผลการวิจัยสะท้อนว่านักเรียนประถมศึกษาตอนต้นสามารถเรียนรู้แนวคิดพีชคณิตระยะแรกผ่านเนื้อหาเลขคณิตปกติได้เมื่อมีการออกแบบปัญหาปลายเปิด สื่อแทนความสัมพันธ์และการอภิปรายทางคณิตศาสตร์อย่างเป็นระบบ
