โบราณวิทยาเรื่องโลหะสำริดในยุคก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ของประเทศไทย

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักคือการเผยแพร่ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการทำและใช้โลหะสำริดในยุคก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ของประเทศไทยเนื้อหาหลักของบทความแบ่งออกเป็น 2 หัวข้อใหญ่คือ 1.)ความนำและ 2.)การทำและใช้สำริดในยุคก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ของประเทศไทยและ3.)ความเห็นเรื่องผลกระทบของพัฒนาการด้านโลหกรรมต่อสังคมและวัฒนธรรมมนุษย์สมัยอดีต
การศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพัฒนาการทางเทคโนโลยีโลหกรรมและวัฒนธรรมสมัยโบราณในดินแดนต่างๆของโลกพบว่าพัฒนาการของเทคโนโลยีนี้มักสัมพันธ์กับการเกิดสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่มีโครงสร้างแบบซับซ้อนสำหรับกรณีของประเทศไทยนั้นแม้ว่าจวบจนขณะนี้ยังไม่มีผลการศึกษาที่เน้นเฉพาะเจาะจงเพื่อหาความสัมพันธ์ของปรากฏการณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมทั้ง 2 ประการมากนักแต่ก็มีหลักฐานทางโบราณคดีชี้ความเป็นไปได้ว่าเทคโนโลยีโลหกรรมคงเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญประการหนึ่งที่มีผลต่อลักษณะการเปลี่ยนแปลงของวัฒนธรรมยุคก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ตอนปลายในประเทศไทยเช่นเดียวกับในดินแดนอื่นของโลก
