A Study of Matthayomsuksa2 Student’s Learning achievement, Discipline and Attitude toward social studies subject through the Network Learning

Abstract

                The purposes of this research were to study Matthayomsuksa 2 students’Learning achievement, Discipline and Attitude towards social studies subject through the network learning. The methods of the study were as follows: 1. the developed social course webpage 2. Investigation on the efficiency of social course webpage 3. A study of try-out.

                The sample were 236 students of Matthayomsuksa 2 from Srinakharinwirot Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary) and schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in the 2nd semester of 2012 academic year. There were 44 students from Srinakharinwirot Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary), 44 students from Suwitserianusron High School, 27 students from Wichutit High School, 45 students from Mathayom Prachaniwet School, 40 students from Mathayom Banbangkapi School and 36 students from Mathyom Naknawaoupatump school. Research tools were social course webpage, Social study achievement test, learning discipline test and attitude test.

                The results of this study revealed that: 1) Post-test through the networksignificantly from pre-test through the network at .01 level 2) the student’s discipline wasnot significantly better after learning through the network and 3) the  students had better attitude  towards the  network  learning  for  social  course  both  in  the management  system and  the course webpage after learning  through the network learning .
