Chula Plan Instructional Packages on Pottery Production in the Pottery Course for Mathayom Suksa III Students at Kasetsart University Demonstration School, Center for Educational Research and Development

Abstract

                 The purposes of this research were (1) to develop Chula Plan instructional packages on Pottery Production in the Pottery Course for Mathayom Suksa III students at Kasetsart University Demonstration School, Center for Educational Research and Development, based on the specified efficiency criterion; (2) to study the learning progress of students who learned from Chula Plan instructional packages on Pottery Production; and (3) to study opinions of the students toward Chula Plan instructional packages on Pottery Production.
                 The research sample obtained though cluster sampling technique consisted of 40 Matayom Suksa at Kasetsart University Demonstration School, Center for Educational Research and Development. These students enrolled in the Pottery Course in the second semester of the 2012 academic year. The research instruments were (1) Chula Plan instructional packages on Pottery Production; (2) a learning achievement test for pre-testing and post-testing; and (3) a questionnaire on student’s opinions toward Chula Plan instructional packages. The statistical procedures used to analyze the data were the E1/E2 efficiency index, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

            Research findings showed that (1) instructional packages on Pottery Production had efficiency at 82.26/81.94, thus met the specified 80/80 efficiency criterion; (2) the students who learned from Chula Plan instructional packages achieved learning progress significantly at the .05 level; and (3) the students’ opinions toward Chula Plan instructional packages on Pottery Production were at the “highly agreeable” level.
