Technologies Utilization in Community Enterprises Business in Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study the situation of information technologies utilization in Pathum Thani Province, including the results and its utilization in community enterprises business, the demand for information technologies at present and in the future. Also provide suggestions about information technologies in marketing, production, finance and human resources. Data used in this research were collected by interviewing 86 chairmans and 80 vice chairmans, 154 committees and 240 members of 80 community enterprises in Pathum Thani Province. The data were also from indept interview of 8 advisory officers.

The results from the research showed that the information technology that have been used of top 10 rank was computer and followed by tablets, smart phone, Facebook, Line, Instragram, Youtube, Twitter, Microsoft program, and design programs. The purpose of using, these information technologies were mainly used in marketing for planning, knowledge management, risk management and auditing. The obstacles of utilizing the device were the lacking of budget for buying a modern device and hiring a competent personnel. The importance and essence needs at present and in the future, at least, they should have computer, notebook, tablets, smartphone, and internet system. This also include a computer program in production, selling, financing, operation and traceability services program.
