The Relationship between Academic Leadership of Administrators and Teaching Behaviours of Teacher in basic Education School under the Secondary Education Service Area Office 37

Abstract
The purposes of this research were (1) to study the academic Leadership of administrators in Basic Education School under the Secondary Education Service Area Office 37; (2) to study the teaching behaviors of Teacher in Basic Education School under the Secondary Education Service Area Office 37; and (3) to study the relationship between Academic Leadership of Administrators and Teaching Behaviors of Teacher in basic Education School under the Secondary Education Service Area Office 37.
The research sample totaling 287 persons consisted of 8 administrators and 279 teachers from the basic Education School under the Secondary Education Service Area Office 37, obtained by stratified random sampling. The employed research instrument of academic Leadership of administrators and teaching behaviors of teacher were the rating scale questionnaire with reliability of .99 and 98. Statistics employed for data analysis were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient.
The results showed that (1) the overall and by-aspect academic Leadership of administrators were rated at the highest level and could be ranked as follows: instructional supervision, support for classroom research, support for information technology in teaching and learning, support educational resources and promote academic atmosphere; (2) the overall and by-aspect teaching Behaviors of Teacher were rated at the highest level and could be ranked as follows: learning management plan, measure and evaluation, classroom research, learning and teaching activities, media and technology and classroom atmosphere; (3) the academic Leadership of Administrators correlated positively and significantly at the .01 level with teaching Behaviors of Teacher.
