Abstract

The research article aimed to study the readiness of management factors of entrepreneurs under the role of the Provincial Commercial Office in the three southern border provinces; to study the needs of entrepreneurs for enhancing market potential under the role of the Provincial Commercial Office in the three southern border provinces; and to compare the needs of entrepreneurs for enhancing market potential under the role of the Provincial Commercial Office in the three southern border provinces according to the basic information of the entrepreneurs. This study is a quantitative research. The sample of 144 entrepreneurs from the three southern border provinces being supported and developed from Provincial Commercial Office in each area, were required to complete a questionnaire. Descriptive statistics: mean, percentage, and standard deviation and inferential statistics: t-test and One-way ANOVA were employed to analyzed the data. The findings revealed that the readiness of management factors of entrepreneurs overall and each aspect were at a high level. The needs of entrepreneurs for enhancing market potential under the role of the Provincial Commercial Office were at a high level. Considering each aspect, it was found that ‘training’ possessed at the highest level, followed by ‘study tour’, ‘exhibition’, and ‘trade and business negotiate connection’. Apart from this, the results from the basic information of the entrepreneurs indicated that the entrepreneurs having different number of staff members showed significantly different needs for enhancing market potential under the role of the Provincial Commercial Office at the .05 level.
