Abstract

International Labor Organization recognizes the importance of working free from violence and harassment. Therefore, Convention No. 190 on the Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019, is issued. This article presents the essence of the Convention, various forms of sexual harassment, their impacts, legal remedies in Thailand, implementation of this Convention in Thailand, and recommendations for preventing and resolving sexual harassment in the workplace.

According to the study's findings, sexual harassment can occur in two different ways: overt acts and online media. Harassment has an impact on society, obligations, and health. Thailand has a list of requirements for preventing sexual harassment, including a written proclamation, modifying gender norms, creating a task force to gather information on complaints, and enforcing disciplinary action. There are no specific statutory laws in Thailand that prohibit sexual harassment that occurs online.
