USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE ACTIVE LEARNING

Abstract

The study in Instructional Design with Active Learning using Digital Technology. The author surveyed a group of 61 university professors involved in the use of various programs or applications. That used to be used in teaching and learning and about basic knowledge in instructional design using digital technology. Found that university professors at most of them have teaching experience of more than 8 years and most of them have used the program are PowerPoint application the most. Next is Line and Facebook Group. As for the basic knowledge in designing and teaching using digital technology, found that university professors are average knowledge of teaching design was at a low level at the least knowledge on the principles and theories for design and development of teaching and learning, next is the need analysis and the teaching strategies in the digital age. The found that, teachers need to develop themselves to be knowledgeable about technology for teaching and learning. They are able to design teaching and learning media and modern digital technology media to be interesting actually works and able to motivate learners to learn in Active Learning to make students happy More fun to learn.
