แนวทางปรับปรุงดินของเกษตรกรไร่อ้อยตำบลทัพหลวง อำเภอบ้านไร่ จังหวัดอุทัยธานี Guidelines For Soil Improvement for Sugarcane Farming in Thap Luang, Ban Rai, Uthai Thani Province

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาปัญหาการปรับปรุงดินของเกษตรกรไร่อ้อยตำบลทัพหลวง อำเภอบ้านไร่ จังหวัดอุทัยธานี และ 2) สร้างแนวทางปรับปรุงดินของเกษตรกรไร่อ้อยตำบลทัพหลวง อำเภอบ้านไร่ จังหวัดอุทัยธานี โดยมีขอบเขตเนื้อหาของการวิจัยตามแนวคิดการพัฒนาเกษตรกร“MAIR” 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านแรงจูงใจ ด้านความสามารถและประสบการณ์ ด้านแนวคิดการตลาด และด้านทรัพยากร วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ช่วงคือช่วงที่ 1 เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาการปรับปรุงดินของเกษตรกรไร่อ้อยตำบลทัพหลวง อำเภอบ้านไร่ จังหวัดอุทัยธานี สำรวจกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน152 คนจากประชากร 250 คน ใช้แบบสอบถามมาตราส่วนประมาณค่าลิเคอร์ทจำนวน 33 ข้อ ช่วงที่ 2 เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เพื่อสร้างแนวทางปรับปรุงดินของเกษตรกรไร่อ้อยตำบลทัพหลวง อำเภอบ้านไร่ จังหวัดอุทัยธานีใช้กระบวนการสนทนากลุ่มโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่มีประสบการณ์จำนวน 9 คน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ปัญหาการปรับปรุงดินของเกษตรกรไร่อ้อย โดยภาพรวม ของปัญหาการปฏิบัติอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ( = 2.60) พิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน คือด้านทรัพยากรอยู่ในระดับตํ่า ( =2.40) ส่วนที่เหลืออยู่ในระดับปานกลางได้แก่ ด้านแรงจูงใจ ( = 2.87) ด้านแนวคิดการตลาด ( = 2.62) ด้านความสามารถและประสบการณ์ ( = 2.52) แนวทางในการปรับปรุงดินของเกษตรกรไร่อ้อย มีดังนี้ ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนด้านแรงจูงใจ คือการใช้ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์แล้วจะทำให้มีสุขภาพแข็งแรงและปลอดภัยจากสารพิษ ด้านความสามารถและประสบการณ์ คือสร้างทักษะและความชำนาญในการใช้ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ สามารถประยุกต์ใช้ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ได้อย่างถูกต้องเหมาะสม และมีการถ่ายทอดความรู้และประสบการณ์แก่ผู้สนใจ ด้านแนวคิดการตลาดคือมีการแปรรูปปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ที่ได้เพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่าและมีการประชาสัมพันธ์ผลผลิตที่ได้จากการใช้ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ให้กับสมาชิกได้รับทราบ ด้านทรัพยากรคือมีการกำหนดหน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบของสมาชิกในกลุ่ม มีทีมงานของกลุ่มที่มีศักยภาพสูง มีการจัดตั้งกองทุน การสนับสนุนจากภาครัฐและเอกชน มีปุ๋ยอินทรีย์พอเพียง มีแหล่งเรียนรู้แปลงสาธิตในเขตพื้นที่และมีบรรยากาศที่ดีในการทำเกษตรอินทรีย์ 

Abstract

This research aimed to study the problems found in soil improvementand to set up guidelines for soil improvement for sugarcane farmingin Thap Luang, Ban Rai, Uthai Thani Province. Therefore, this researchfocused on the MAIR Model: motivation, abilities, ideas in marketing andresources. Quantitative and qualitative research methods were used toanalyze the problems found in soil improvement process. A set of quetionnaires were used in data collecting from 152 respondents. In thesecond part of the study, nine experts set up focus group discussion inorder to make suitable suggestions and recommendations as guidelinesfor sugarcane farming and their achievement in soil improvement.
The study found that, overall problems in soil improvement were ata moderate level ( = 2.60). Considering in each aspect, the participantsindicated a low level on the category of resources ( = 2.40) while othercategories were at a moderate level, namely motivation ( = 2.87), abilityand experience ( = 2.52), idea in marketing ( = 2.62).The logicalguidelines for soil improvement are summarized as follows: Motivation:Promoting the use of organic fertilizer as a promising alternative due toits benefi t in terms of health and environment. Ability and experiences:Training skills on know-how and knowledge sharing in organic fertilizerin order to strengthen farmers’ ability. Idea in marketing: Processingorganic fertilizer to enhance added-value as well as promoting productsresulted from the use of organic fertilizer. Resources: Conducting roleand responsibility for members, providing fund along with governmentand other organization supports in order to enlarge group’s potential,producing enough organic fertilizer establishing an demonstratingsugarcane farming as a community learning-center with a nice atmospherefor organic agriculture.
