Lifestyles of Baby Boomer Generation in Bangkok Metropolis

The purpose of this research was to study the lifestyles of baby boomer and to find the elements of the lifestyle of baby boomer in Bangkok Metropolis. This was a quantitative research by using questionnaires with a reliability of 0.889 from 400 people aged between 54-72 year old in Bangkok Metropolis. Data analysis was carries out through percentage, means, standard deviation and factor analysis with analyzed principal component analysis and orthogonal rotation by Varimax method to group similar variables into lifestyles dimensions. The results revealed that most of the samples were female, having a bachelor’s degree, monthly income of 15,001-25,000 baht, and living with spouses and children. In addition, the factor element of lifestyles of baby boomer generation in Bangkok Metropolis could be divided into four factors that were internal value group, trend group, excited activity group, and merit group.
