The Four Noble Truths Thinking Activity Package to Develop Awareness in Sexual Risk Behavior of Female Adolescents in Huai Khwang District, Bangkok

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to construct the Four Noble Truths Thinking Activity Package and study the result of the Four Noble Truths Thinking Activity Package to develop awareness in sexual risk behavior of female adolescents in Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. The research design was the Pre-experimental research design with type One - Group Pretest-Posttest Design.  The group sample were 30 female adolescents with 15 - 19 years old and studying in  2016 academic year. at Huai Khwang District Non-Formal and Informal Education Center. The test measuring the Four Noble Truths Thinking test and the questionnaires of awareness in sexual risk behavior were used to get data. Statistics analyze included Frequency Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test for dependent samples. The findings were as follows :


  1. 1. The Four Noble Truths Thinking Activity Package was effectively in developing awareness in sexual risk behavior of female adolescents in Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. (E1/E2 = 80.00/82.25)

  2. 2. The Posttest average score of the Four Noble Truths Thinking after the use of the Four Noble Truths Thinking Activity Package was higher than the pretest average score significantly at .05 level.

  3. 3. The average score of awareness in sexual risk behavior after the use of The Four Noble Truths Thinking Activity Package was higher than the pretest average score significantly at .05 level.
