Potentiality of Community Enterprises Development Model which Affects the Success of Tourism – based Community Enterprises

Abstract

This research aims to study the potential of tourism-based homestay community enterprise, the success of tourism-based homestay community enterprises. It is also to improve the potential pattern of community enterprise effecting the operation’s success on tourism-based homestay community enterprise of both general and standard of department of tourism. The researcher used the multiple sampling that the methodology for sample was G *Power 3.1. The participant was 497 tourists who stayed on homestay based community. Questionnaire on the potential of community enterprise and the success of tourism-based homestay community enterprise were used to collect data. The statistic were used to analyze data are mean, standard deviation (SD), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM). The result of this research is divided into two aspects: Firstly, The overall potential of tourism-based homestay community enterprise is in a potentially good level with the best marketing management potential on both the standard of department of tourism and general tourism-based homestay community enterprise. Secondly, the success of tourism-based homestay community enterprise in excellent level with the best accommodation, food, and safety on both the standard of department of tourism and general tourism-based homestay community enterprise. The analytic results on structural equation modeling (SEM) presents 47 percent of the potential of tourism-based homestay community enterprise effecting the success of tourism-based homestay community enterprise by the standard of department of tourism is in a good level correlate with empirical data. Knowledge and data management is the most influence and the marketing management shows the least influent effect.
