THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP AND EQ OF LEADER AFFECTING TO THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE SMALL RESTAURANTS IN BANGKOK

Abstract
The purposes of the research were: (1) To study the leadership of the leader who affects the effectiveness of small restaurants In Bangkok (2) to study the emotional intelligence factor that affecting the effectiveness of small restaurants in Bangkok. This qualitative study has been conducted by in-depth interviews from operate employees and supervisors that work in small restaurant business in Bangkok, that have the job experienced more than 1 year. We interviewed 15 employees in small restaurant, it was assured and reviewed by not only the local media but also the international media.
The results of the study were showed that leadership had a direct impact to the effectiveness of small restaurants in Bangkok. However, one of the essential abilities of a successful leader is emotional intelligence. In conclusion, it can be concluded that the components of the leadership consist of (4) factors which are: 1) Idealized Influence 2) Inspiration Motivation 3) Intellectual Stimulation 4) Individualized Consideration, which has the emotional intelligence as a transmission factor which consisting of three factors including 1) kindness 2) smart 3) happiness, this is even more evident in the sample groups that involved in the management of small restaurants. So, these (2) factors influence to the effectiveness of the small restaurants in Bangkok.
