วัน-เวลามรดกที่จับต้องไม่ได้ของผู้สูงอายุ : กรณีศึกษาภาพยนตร์เรื่องหลานม่า

บทคัดย่อ
บทความฉบับนี้ นำเสนอกรณีศึกษาภาพยนตร์หลานม่า มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์การสร้างคุณค่าให้ตนเองและครอบครัว ความสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัว มรดกที่จับต้องไม่ได้ ผ่านตัวละครผู้สูงอายุ “อาม่าเหม้งจู” โดยการวิเคราะห์อาศัยแนวคิดการเล่าเรื่องในภาพยนตร์ แนวคิดการถอนตัว และแนวคิดการเลือกสรรทางสังคมและอารมณ์ มาช่วยทำความเข้าใจชีวิตผู้สูงอายุที่สะท้อนผ่านตัวละครในสื่อภาพยนตร์ ซึ่งทำให้เห็นว่า มรดกที่แท้จริงที่เราคาดหวังจากผู้สูงอายุอาจไม่ใช่เพียงทรัพย์สินเชิงวัตถุเสมอไป
ข้อค้นพบจากการศึกษานี้ ได้แก่ การปรับตัวในสังคมสมัยใหม่ของผู้สูงอายุ กระบวนการสร้างคุณค่าแก่ตนเองของผู้สูงอายุ ผู้สูงอายุกับการดูแลสุขภาพ และการถอนตัว การปฏิเสธความสัมพันธ์ (Disengagement Theory) อาม่าเหม้งจู สร้างคุณค่าให้ตัวเองและครอบครัวผ่าน 3 ประเด็นหลัก ประการแรก คือ การเป็น “หัวใจของบ้าน” ที่รวมลูกหลานไว้ด้วยความผูกพัน ไม่ใช่การใช้อำนาจสั่งการ แต่เป็นการส่งต่อคำสอนและสำนวนภาษาจีนที่ช่วยขัดเกลาใจคนรุ่นหลัง ประการที่สอง คือ การดูแลตัวเองตามกำลังเพื่อไม่ให้เป็นภาระ ซึ่งเป็นการรักษาศักดิ์ศรีในแบบของผู้สูงอายุ และประการที่สาม คือ การรู้จักปล่อยวางและยอมรับความตายอย่างมีสติ การที่อาม่านิ่งเงียบหรือยอมยกของสำคัญให้ลูกหลานในตอนจบ ไม่ใช่การยอมแพ้ต่อโชคชะตา แต่เป็นการแสดงอำนาจในการเลือกใช้ชีวิตช่วงสุดท้ายอย่างสง่างาม ทำให้เห็นว่า สิ่งที่มีค่าที่สุดที่ผู้สูงอายุมอบให้ครอบครัวคือ “เวลา” และ “บทเรียนชีวิต” ที่จะยังคงอยู่ แม้จะลาจากโลกไปแล้วก็ตาม
