An Administrative Strategy of Learning Management at Chomthong School, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study conditions and promotion process in learning management in Chomthong school, Chiang Mai province by using a survey research, the subjects were administrators and teachers at Chomthong school, Chiang Mai province, for a total of 123 respondents.  A questionnairewas used to collect data.  The data were analyzed by using Frequency, Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation, and 2) to create the administrative strategy of learning management at Chomthong School, Chiang Mai Province by using work shop. As regards the SWOT Analysis, drafting strategy and the accuracy of the strategy were verified by the administrators, head of subject areas, and teachers.

  The research results indicated that 1) the levels of conditions in learning management in Chomthong school, Chiang Mai province were overall at a high level, ranking from high to low as follows: teachers’ learning activities focusing on child-centered, policy regarding the learning management focusing on child-centered, encouragement the teachers’ knowledge and understanding regarding the learning management focusing on child-centered, and teachers’ self-development regarding the learning management focusing on child-centered 2) the development of administrative strategy of learning management at Chomthong School, Chiang Mai Province by using SWOT Analysis for schools were concluded that there were 18 administrative strategies of learning management at, 26 measures in implementation according to the strategies, and 35 indicators showing the success. As regards the created strategies with the consistency and possibility were at a high level as well as the appropriateness and usefulness were also at a high level.
