The Development of Participation Model of Basic Education Committees in the Implementation of Internal Quality Assurance in Schools Under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the problems of participation of basic education committees; 2) to create and develop the participation model; 3) to assess the suitability and feasibility of the participation model of basic education committees in the implementation of internal quality assurance in schools. Data were collected from 333 participants, including school administrators, representatives of basic education committees, and teachers, selected by simple random sampling. Data were collected by a questionnaire and were analyzed by mean and standard deviation
The results of this research found that:
- The problems of participation of basic education committees in the implementation of internal quality assurance in schools were in a high level in overall and each aspect ranked in descending order: participation in continuous educational quality development, participation in educational quality development planning, participation in educational quality monitoring, and participation in the implementation of educational quality development plans.
- The participation model of basic education committees in the implementation of internal quality assurance in schools consisted of four components: 1) Principle; 2) Objective; 3) Participation Process: (1) Participate in planning the educational quality development (2) Participate in the implementation of the educational quality development plans (3) Participate in monitoring and assessment of the educational quality (4) Participate in supervision and follow-up on performance (5) Participate in the development of the educational quality; 4) Success conditions.
- The overall suitability and feasibility assessment of the participation model of basic education committees in the implementation of internal quality assurance in schools were in the highest level and in a high level, respectively.
