The Study of Community Participation Model in School Administration Under Suratthani Educational Service Area Office 1

The objectives of this research were: 1) To study the state of community participation; 2) develop a community participation model; and 3) check the suitability and feasibility of the community participation model in school administration under SuratThani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The research consisted of 3 steps, which consisted of : Step 1: The researcher studies the state of community participation. The sample group were 92 school administrators by Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument was the questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.94. Data were analyzed by basic statistical tools including mean and standard deviation. Step 2 : The researcher develops a community participation model by focus group of 20 experts. Step 3 : check the suitability and feasibility of Community Participation Model. The sample group were 92 school administrators by Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument was the questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.95. Data were analyzed by basic statistical tools including mean and standard deviation
The results of this research found that:
- Community participation. Overall and each aspect at a high level, ranked by highest to lowest, participation in receiving benefits, participation in practice, participation in planning and participation in measurement and evaluation.
- Model of community participation consists of 4 components 1) Co-plan 2) Join the practice 3) Join the benefits. And 4) Join the evaluation
- Results of examining the suitability and feasibility of the community participation model was found there is suitability and feasibility at a high level.
