Curriculum Administration of Educational Institution of Schools in Ban Thi District under Lamphun Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the administration of educational institution curricula 2) to propose guidelines for the development of educational institution curriculum administration in schools in Ban Thi District, under The Lamphun Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The population used in this research consisted of school administrators, teachers, and educational personnel from six schools in Ban Thi District, totaling 51 people in the academic year 2021. The research instruments used were questionnaires and interview forms. The data were statistically analyzed using mean (), standard deviation (SD), and descriptive data analysis.

The results of this research found that:

1. The administration of educational institutions' curriculum was rated at the highest level overall. When considering each aspect individually, the highest average score was obtained for the aspect of curriculum arrangement in educational institutions, followed by the aspect of promotion and support for educational institution curricula, the aspect of quality supervision of educational institution curricula, the aspect of curriculum implementation in educational institutions, and finally, the aspect of improvement of educational institution curricula.
2. Guidelines for the development of educational institution curriculum administration in schools in Ban Thi District, under The Lamphun Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, were as follows: 1) The arrangement of educational institution curricula should be integrated into the 2021 COVID-19 context 2) The implementation of educational institution curricula should involve a change in teaching-learning styles and the adoption of appropriate measures and evaluation models for each course 3) The promotion and support of educational institution curricula should focus on the development of teachers and personnel to enhance their knowledge and understanding in the preparation and implementation of educational institution curricula 4) Quality supervision of educational institution curricula should involve the establishment of a committee to supervise, monitor, and evaluate the use of educational materials 5) The improvement of educational institution curricula should include encouraging teachers to participate in training on curriculum development and aligning the curricula with the context of the schools.
