DEVELOPMENT OF LESSON PLANS ON 5 PRECEPTS USING QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES TO PROMOTE ANALYTICAL THINKING ABILITY FOR WATPADANG SCHOOL STUDENTS IN CHIANG MAI PROVINCE

Abstract
The purposes of this study were 1) to develop the lesson plans for the five precepts by using questioning techniques to promote analytical thinking 2) to construct the analytical thinking form test for the five precepts by using questioning techniques for Watpadang School Students, Chiang Mai Province. The population of this study were 3 experts and 5 professionals selected by purposive sampling. The study tools used in this study consisted of 7 lesson plans for the five precepts by using questioning techniques to promote analytical thinking and 30 questions of the evaluation form of lesson plans for the five precepts following Bloom’s taxonomy. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were mean, standard deviation, difficulty (p), Discrimination (r) and using table to show the information.
The study results found that :
1) The lesson plans for the five precepts by using questioning techniques were very appropriate. (mean = 4.47)
2) The analytical thinking test for the five precepts by using questioning techniques had quality of content which discrimination were between 0.25-0.75 and reliability was 0.69.
