The Study of desirable characteristics on Bachelor of Arts Program in Christian Theology (Update B.E.2560) Christian University of Thailand.

Abstract

This research aims to study the desirable characteristics of the Bachelor of Arts Program in Christian Theology. This was conducted by interviewing 3 lecturers of the Faculty of Christian Theology of the Christian University of Thailand who have than 5 years of experience serving /working in the church using the specific selection and data analysis. This study found 15 desirable characteristics of the graduates of the Bachelor of Arts Programs in Christian Theology, namely 1) love and honesty 2) the application of the knowledge of specific discipline to the practice of Christian ministry 3) the ability to use the Bible knowledge for the desired effect 4) the ability to work with others 5) the ability to communicate and use information technology 6) the ability to apply the knowledge and skills related to the church for further development 7) the application of theological knowledge or the biblical context for the production of creative works 8) respect for the law and living according to Christian ethics 9) the ability to practice Christian ministry in the church 10) the ability to think analyze and synthesize information 11) the ability to go through the process of thinking and analyzing problems 12) understand the organizational system and can manage church ministries 13) the ability to provide concrete assistance to society 14) the co-conservation and inheritance of Christian arts and culture and 15) the initiative and creative thinking, voluntary spirit, a spiritual leader and managing finances.
