As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submission process for consideration of the Burapha Journal of Business Management

1. The authors must prepare the article according to the format specified by the Burapha Journal of Business Management.

2. When finished formatting the article as specified by the journal, the authors are asked to fill in the research article review form before submitting it for consideration in the Burapha Journal of Business Management. Burapha University checks the article to ensure that the article is correct as specified by the journal. The authors must follow the format specified by the journal only. If the authors do not follow the format specified by the journal, the article will not be considered.

3. In the submission process for consideration, the authors must submit the article via the ThaiJo platform only with the following supporting documents.

        3.1 Research article in MS Word format

4. When the authors successfully submit the article via the ThaiJo platform, the Burapha Journal of Business Management’s editorial team will check the correctness and completeness of the article format and the scope of the Burapha Journal of Business Management of the article. When the article passes the initial quality consideration by the editorial team, the article can be sent to the reviewers. The editorial team will notify the authors when the fee must be paid.

5. In the payment process, the authors pay the fee through Krungthai Bank (KTB), Burapha University branch, account no. 386-1-00442-9, account name: Burapha University. After the fee is paid, please send proof of payment and the fee payment form via the Discussion box of the authors on the ThaiJo platform. Then, the editorial team will proceed with checking the fee payment documents.

 

Manuscript Requirements and Style Guide for Authors

The article to be submitted should be concise and have a clear idea. In addition, the authors must write an abstract. (with at least 150 words and a maximum of 250 words) in both Thai and English. The authors should check the correctness of the manuscript, such as spelling, punctuation, and appropriateness in language use. The manuscript shall not exceed 20 pages (not including references), and plagiarism must not exceed 20 percent; checked by the Turnitin program and has the following components.

For an academic article, the topic and content should clearly indicate the presented issues and have an appropriate sequence, making it understandable for the readers. Moreover, analytical theory should be applied, and the points should be wholly presented.

The research article should systematically present the methodology and the results, which should have the following elements.

        1. Introduction covers the importance and source of the research problem or the source of the reason for writing the article, an overview presentation, and research terms and definitions.
        2. Objectives indicate the purpose of the study
        3. Conceptual framework indicates the relation between the research's independent and dependent variables.
        4. Scope of the research is the limitation or the scope of the research
        5. Literature review covers theories and the articles used in conducting this research
        6. Research methodology clearly explains the methods used to conduct this research according to the type of research article, including data collection or research instruments.
        7. Research findings clearly present research results based on the topics studied.
        8. Conclusion summarizes the research results using the analyzed data to summarize the points.
        9. Discussion is a discussion of the research results and important issues from the study, including theoretical and practical benefits in business administration.
        10. Recommendations are the issues that give recommendations from the research results or findings in the study, both in the form of suggestions based on research results and recommendations for future research.

        The article's title is written in Thai and English using TH SarabunPSK, font size 20 points, bold, in the center of the page.
        Author’s name
        The author’s name-surname is written in Thai and English without a title, position, or rank.
        Abstract
        The abstract must be written in Thai and English. The length must be at least 150 words and a maximum of 250 words.

Editorial and review process

        The articles to be considered for publication will be considered by the editorial team and reviewers in related fields to screen and check the quality of the articles with the following steps:

        Step 1: The editorial team will notify the authors when the editorial team has received the article according to the submission requirements. The editorial team will then review the title and content of the article to see if it is suitable for the scope of the Burapha Journal of Business Management.

        Step 2: If the editorial team considers that the article is appropriate, the article will be sent to reviewers in the relevant field to check the quality of the article. The reviewers will be blinded to the authors’ information and consider whether the article is appropriate for publication. The article is examined by at least 3 reviewers (peer review) from many institutions. The article must be considered suitable for publication by at least 2 reviewers. If two out of three reviewers consider the article unsuitable for publication, the editorial team will notify the authors immediately. If the editorial team decides that the article can be published in the Burapha Journal of Business Management or should be sent back to the authors for correction before reconsidering or rejecting publication based on recommendations from the reviewers. The authors must edit the article as completely as possible to have the right to publish it in the Burapha Journal of Business Management.
