Administrative Factors Affecting the a Study of the Academic Administration Competencies of the School Administrators under the Office of the Chaiyaphum Educational Service Area

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to: 1) study the academic administration competencies
of the school administrators under the jurisdiction of Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area
Offices according to the teachers’ opinions, 2) compare the teachers' opinions in Chaiyaphum Primary
Educational Service Area Office towards the academic administration competencies of the school
administrators, classified by the institutional affiliation and school sizes and 3) study the
recommendations for the development of the school administrators’ academic administration
competencies in Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area Offices. The sample group used in this
research included 387 in-service teachers under the jurisdiction of Chaiyaphum Educational Service Area
Offices, Academic Year 2020 with the sample size calculated by using Taro Yamane ready-made tables.
The research instruments were questionnaires.
The research findings showed that: 1) the academic administration competencies
of educational institute administrators under the jurisdiction under Chaiyaphum Educational Service
Area Offices according to the teachers’ opinions in overall revealed at the high level. With ranking
the average scores from highest to lowest scores, it indicated different aspects of learning management,
school curriculum development, learning supervision in schools and promoting the research for learning
quality development, 2) the comparison of the teachers’ opinions under the jurisdiction under
Chaiyaphum Educational Service Area Offices towards the academic administration competencies,
classified by the institutional affiliation and school sizes school size 2 pairs, overall, it was found that
there was a statistically significant difference at the .05 level and 3) the recommendations
for the development of academic administration competencies could be concluded that
the administrators should have the competencies keeping up with academic changes constantly
in order to enhance the organizations with quality and effectiveness in working.
