The The Development of the P-O-D-C-A-S-T Learning Management Process with AI to Enhance the Storytelling Skills of Secondary School Student

Abstract

            This study aimed to: 1) develop a P-O-D-C-A-S-T learning management process integrated with AI to enhance secondary school students' storytelling skills at Ban Koh Wittaya School, Phrom Khiri District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, and 2) study the students' local cultural storytelling skills after the implementation of this process. The study employed Research and Development (R&D) and with an expansion phase (Moment), consisting of five stages: Stage 1 – Research (R1), Stage 2 – Development (D1), Stage 3 – Research (R2), Stage 4 – Development (D2), and Stage 5 – Moment (M).

            The sample consisted of six twelfth-grade students from Ban Koh Wittaya School, selected using simple random sampling during the first semester of the 2025 academic year. The research instruments included: 1) an efficiency evaluation form for the learning management model, 2) lesson plans, and 3) a learning outcome assessment. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and a dependent samples t-test.

            The findings revealed that 1) The P-O-D-C-A-S-T learning process integrated with AI comprised 7 sequential steps: Plan, Outline, Develop (content), Create (audio), Assemble (edit), Share, and Transform (further development). The process demonstrated efficiency at a high to highest level (Mean = 4.33 - 4.67). 2) students’ storytelling skills after participating in the P-O-D-C-A-S-T learning process integrated with AI were significantly higher than before participation at the .05 level of statistical significance.
