The purposes of this study were study the relationship and the factors that influence the acceptance of doing financial transactions on smartphones in Bangkok and its vicinity. Data concerning demographic characteristics and financial transactions on smartphones were analyzed. This study used survey research methodology. The samples consisted of 400 participants who carried out financial transactions on smartphones in Bangkok and its vicinity. The theory used in this thesis study were the Technology Acceptance Model and A Theory of Reasoned Action Model which applied the questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The statistics used in the analysis are frequency, percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation which analyzed the relationship between the variables. It found there was a significance level of 0.05. with Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. The results of this study revealed that the majority of the participants were male, ranging from 26 to 35 years old, who mostly held bachelor’s degrees. Most of them were employees of companies. It was found that the attitude norm factor on the transaction affected most behavioral acceptances of transactions banking on smartphones. The perceived ease of use doing financial transactions on smart phones affected most participants to conduct financial transactions on their smart phones as well as safety and security factors affected the attitude and norms that caused participants to use their smart phones for financial transactions.
