Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to study the relationship between fatigue factors and job performance of air traffic controllers (2) to study the relationship between operational factors and job performance of air traffic controllers (3) to study the relationship between organizational factors and job performance of air traffic controllers (4) to study the power of forecasting fatigue factors, operational factors, organizational factors which affect to job performance of air traffic controllers. The samples used in the study were 120 air traffic controllers who work at aerodrome control towers. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect research data by Pearson's simple correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The result of the study found out that (1) fatigue factors were not significantly correlated with job performance of air traffic controllers (2) operational factors were positively and significantly correlated with job performance of air traffic controllers at the level of 0.01 (3) no statistically significant difference was found between organizational factors against job performance of air traffic controller (4) the result of stepwise multiple regression analysis was found at the significance level of 0.05 that operational factors were able to explain 7.7% of job performance of the air traffic controllers.
