การปฏิรูปการศึกษาอย่างลึกซึ้งในช่วงใหม่นี้ การฝึกอบรมนักศึกษาแพทย์แผนประยุกต์ให้มีความสามารถ โดยไม่แบ่งแยกทางการเมือง และความได้เปรียบทางการแข่งขันการจ้างงานที่แข็งแกร่งนั้น ได้รับความสนใจอย่างกว้างขวางจากนักการศึกษาทั้งในระดับประเทศ สังคม และมหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งกิจกรรมอาสาสมัครถือเป็นวิธีที่มีประสิทธิภาพสำหรับนักศึกษาแพทย์ ในการพัฒนาความสามารถในการศึกษาด้วยตนเอง เพื่อที่พวกเขาจะได้รับความรู้ ความสามารถ และความทุ่มเทในกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ในขณะเดียวกัน การพัฒนาคุณภาพโดยรวมของนักศึกษาแพทย์ และการพัฒนาความได้เปรียบทางการแข่งขันการจ้างงานจะผลักดันให้ระดับความสามารถทางการแพทย์โดยรวมได้พัฒนามากยิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งจะเอื้อต่อการป้องกันสุขภาพของประชาชน และส่งเสริมความสามัคคีทางสังคม ความมั่นคง ดังนั้น การศึกษาอิทธิพลของการบริการอาสาสมัครของนักศึกษาแพทย์ต่อความได้เปรียบทางการแข่งขันการจ้างงานจึงมีความสำคัญทั้งทางทฤษฎี และทางปฏิบัติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ซอฟต์แวร์โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป ได้ถูกนำมาใช้ในการประมวลผล และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลการสำรวจเพื่อตรวจสอบสมมติฐานการวิจัย ผลสรุปจากการศึกษานี้ แสดงให้เห็นว่าการเป็นอาสาสมัครของนักศึกษาแพทย์มีผลดีต่อการส่งเสริมการพัฒนาความได้เปรียบทางการแข่งขันการจ้างงานของนักศึกษาแพทย์ ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อความได้เปรียบในการแข่งขันการจ้างงานประกอบด้วย 4 ด้าน คือ 1) ความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม 2) ระดับทักษะความรู้ทางวิชาชีพ 3) การแก้ปัญหา และ 4) ความอดทนต่อความไม่พอใจของผู้รับบริการ
