The Development Guidelines for Small and Micro Community Enterprises of Ban Tao Hai Pottery Handicraft Group at Muang District, Phitsanulok Province

The purposes of this research were to study the working conditions of pottery and handicraft enterprise, to compare the operation of pottery handicraft enterprise, and to find the ways to develop the operation of the community enterprise. The 320 participants were used for quantitative data and 20 were used for qualitative data. Data were collected by using a questionnaire and interview and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA and LSD and content analysis. The results showed that the overall working conditions of community enterprise were at a very high level with the highest mean on planning, leadership and management, process of learning, management of community enterprise members, marketing management, and the process of managing the product or service, respectively. As for the comparison of the factors, it was found that there was a significant difference among participants with different gender, marital status, education level, income from major career, and membership duration at 0.05. In terms of the guidelines, it was suggested that there should be a permanent venue for free exhibition, publicity given to the outside sectors to know the unique feature of Ban Tao Hai Pottery Handicraft which is different from other places, training the members of community enterprise to make a note of financial household accounts, production management, marketing and finance, and career costs. Also, the members should know the financial position of their own and can analyze and decide on investment, expected income, expenses, and carry out community enterprise work to solve debt and alleviate poverty.
