Development of Multimedia Training Package about Diabetes Mellitus for Village Health Volunteers Amphoe Kongkrailat, Sukhothai Province

Abstract

This research was to develop multimedia training package about diabetes mellitus. This research used mixed method with 302 village health volunteers in Amphoe Kongkrailat, Sukhothai Province.  The instruments used in this study include questionnaire, in-depth interview form, focus group interview form, multimedia training package about diabetes, diabetes knowledge test, skills assessment about diabetes, questionnaire about the suitability of the training package and satisfaction questionnaire of training package. The data was analyzed by T-Test Independent. The performance has the efficiency standard 80/80. The evaluation of learning in study group showed that the knowledge of the training package scores and diabetes knowledge test scores after training were higher than the scores before training significantly different at p<0.05.  Village health volunteers of multimedia were satisfied to use the training packages about diabetes mellitus at a high level.
