Factors influencing preparation for becoming Quality elderly people in Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province

The aim of this predictive research was to study factors influencing preparation for becoming quality elderly people in Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province. The samples, with multi-stage sampling, included 250 samples with people 55-59 years old. Data were collected by using questionnaire with a reliability of 0.86 Data analysis was used descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple regression analysis, was found at significant level of 0.05. The results showed that factors influencing preparation for becoming quality elderly people in Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province, there were 4 factors as follows : attitude towards preparing for being elderly (b = 0.731, Beta = 0.552), knowledge about how to prepare for being an elderly person (b = 0.338, Beta = 0.108), social support (b = 0.467, Beta = 0.351) and age (b = -0.339, Beta = -0.148) respectively. All four factors predicted the preparation for becoming quality elderly people in Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province at 68.3% with the significant level of 0.05.
